Vintage Pressed Glass
I have a vintage green glass bottle with a lid that I can not identify. Can someone who knows how to help pattern glass?
The pattern is the grape and leaves or sometimes called the harvest. I think you press the glass but not sure. If you can help, send me your email and I'll send photos. Thank you.
How big is it? If the description is fairly accurate, was made by Indiana Glass. Vintage made (the "official" name) in carnival glass green (iridescent rainbow effect) for just 10 years from 1974. This bottle was available in 3 sizes, the most valuable being 9 1 / 2 "tall, including the finish in the top of the lid. This pattern was originally made in the glass of milk, when Indiana was purchased by Lancaster Colony (1957), as were the mold colony. It began producing blue carnival glass in 1971 and added the gold and green in 1974. The pattern also occurred in the sixties in the third carnival colors of olive and amber, with rare pieces of blue silk or satin green. The unique satin pieces I've seen were smaller games. About it is based Gras: the large, generally referred to as a cookie / biscuit barrel or cookie jar, is sold on eBay for between $ 40 and $ 120, depending on the day! The smallest, at 7, usually between $ 20 and $ 40. I have seen the full set of three sells for $ 149, so not really depends on the day! I do not know what the current "book" value can be, but in my opinion, eBay is a better indicator, as an issue only worth what someone is willing to pay. Prices of other colors are usually a little lower, green is a little weird. These sizes are estimates, since this was hand made of glass and may vary.
