Cream Area Rug
I need suggestions for decorations include my jewel tone plaid sofa. Help! Please!?
A friend of mine gave me a sofa that is in almost perfect condition. It has a camel, three cushions and rolled arms. This is a large plaid print ….. color is plaid jewel tones dark blue …. especially with, dk green burgundy and dark gray. My carpet is dark brown! And, my walls are cream. Any suggestions? A good area carpet pull it together or make it "too busy" with pictures? Thanks for any suggestions!
If you want to try buying a carpet a little more large cover under the sofa, coffee table, that you want to fit in that area, ie. coffee tables, lamps define the area. I choose a beige clear. one that matches the carpet and walls. This will make the room seem less heavy and dark. If you can not afford a larger area rug size that which is slightly larger than your coffee table would be too much work.
