Auto Road Map
Do you have a car from CarMax, now three weeks later I received a letter saying that I can give credit to finance?
In November 23, I had my Honda CR-V from CarMax. It is not easy. Since my credit is not on the map (I'm 19), nobody (to be funded through them) approve except Road Runner and Wachovia. Needless to say, Wachovia deal was a better way. Title of the firm. I've received my labels. Fully insured. Today I received a letter from Carmax auto finance company in Georgia, saying: "After careful consideration, we regret that we can not offer credit in the terms requested by Carmax … "So I bring my car back?! Why go through the offer and then I know three weeks later?!
This is what is really happening: when I wanted to get the car, Carmax sent your information to several financiers to try to get you approved. Some offered credit, others do not. You went with the one who said yes and offered the best conditions (smart move). Companies not offer credit to which they are required to notify you that you were rejected and what credit bureau that ran through your credit card help make your decision. Sooo summarize: you also ran credit through their own auto finance division who refused. Wachovia is approved. The car is still yours. Expect to see more of these letters from other creditors. And one last tip: Keep payments to establish good credit since the beginning!
