Door Knobs Plates
front door latch only halfway?
It was working fine and the screw came loose I put back on the door of my door kwickset knob lock knob worked fine before. I had problems locking from the inside, but I know something is working, except it is normal latch extension complete if I did not tighten the screws on the inside. I've seen this before Kwikset locks. The locking mechanism, which falls on the side of the door is binding. With the loose doorknobs, make sure the latch is properly seated and the two screws that hold it in the door are tight. Then tighten the screws on the door knob while also ensuring that the knobs the doors are seated correctly. Alternate when tightening the screws, making each a little at a time. If the pin is still binding, it may be necessary to loosen the screws a bit.
