Porcelain Door Knobs
What I can use to remove paint from porcelain and bronze?
Hello, the previous owners of our house liked to ruin 1937 original parts terribly paint everywhere. I would like to remove paint from porcelain some built-ins in the bathroom (for example, a soap holder, for example) and some pieces of brass doorknobs and handles. I'm not sure if paint thinner will ruin porcelain or brass. Thanks!
Remove the attachments if possible to protect the walls. Paint / varnish separator is safe for your needs, but be sure to follow the instructions and use in a well ventilated area. If you want to "antique" brass, put the piece in a closed container suspended over a pool of ammonia which is a piece of copper therein. After a few hours will be years. You can check this by "Googling" antique brass.
