Flowcrete has reinforced its position as a premier international company carpet with a large-scale installation at Dubai International Airport — one of the largest projects ever undertaken by the company.
A selection of specialist Flowcrete systems – including screeds, car park covers, hygienic and quick story subject – have been applied in the new Terminal 3, Room 2 evolution.
Alan Dean, sales director of Flowcrete, which has its international headquarters in Cheshire, said: "The range of products used in the Dubai International Airport and the magnitude of the installation process shows Flowcrete the ability to carry out the world's largest construction projects and prestigious.
Flowcrete Products installed include the time Isocrete demonstrated K-rule – specified for airport developments worldwide for over 30 years – that was used in the multistory car, park facilities. About 40,000 square feet of K-rule Isocrete also settled in the passenger area condemned the Departure Hall.
A total of 366,000 meters square Flowcrete established system of Deckshield has also been installed – in all five levels Parking, including the deck.
Deckshield system was also applied in other high traffic areas, including all service roads under the complex terminal, baggage handling areas and rooms of the plant.
For the kitchen facilities in the development, Flowcrete of Flowfresh System has been installed. Renowned for its durability and ease of cleaning, soil Polygiene incorporates transparent polyurethane, which in debugging utilisies silver natural abilities to deliver around the clock protection against a wide range of different bacteria.
Finally, Flowfast Quartz – Fast track Flowcrete's floor ready for use just hours after installation – was applied in the cold storage area.
The project is the latest success in the Middle East Flowcrete. In Autumn, the company announced it had won its largest ever contract – including the installation of your parking system established Deckshield – Dubai Jumeirah Lake Towers Development.
Flowcrete – which has a regional office in Dubai – Has also reached another large-scale contract in the Emirate, to implement its sound performance system Isocrete Acoustic K in the luxurious Fairmont Palm Residence Hotel and Resort, being built within the exclusive Palm Jumeirah Development.
