Brass Drawer Pulls
What kind of old desktop I have?
I have an antique desk made of solid cherry. It has 7 drawers, center drawer where the curves out. Has original brass ring pulls lions head. It also has 8 legs. A front leg needs repair, as the person who had earlier, apparently crashed into his desk chair in it so much that seems to be bitten. Has been restored many times already, and would have to do it again before I think it would be worth worth anything. The drawers have dovetail joints. I do not know what style of table this is, so I can view online to see what can be worthwhile. Any idea?
You might try to send some pictures to an antique appraiser or one comes to your home. Your description is too general for anyone to give an accurate assessment. Condition would be important to determine its value. Here are a couple of online sources. I know nothing about them. You could try other sites.
