Antique Chinese Wood

I totally have no ideas on how to restore a high knee old wooden table. ?
Its really a receiver himself, was walking my dog when I saw the picture at a garage sale. Stoopid im totally with this information. Could you give me ideas on how to restore this painting. Is very promising and good, the best is a table of ancient China.
What is the table on this? Paint or stain? I will take the stain. There are many ways to refinish the wood. For commercial stain remover stains there that work very well. You put it with a brush,,, use the gel, let it sit, and scrape the stain. The solution will make the stain out of wood. Gel works better, especially if you have a lot of nooks and crannies. After the stain is off, you let it dry thoroughly, then sand down with fine sandpaper to avoid scratching the wood. Then again if you can stain or natural finish looks good out of it. You may have a treasure Antiques road show, then leave the spot! If soft wood, like pine, so you may have to put a conditioner on it before returning to the spot to make the stain go par. Polyurethane should be the last layer of protection when you finish, 2 layers.
